Recent times have seen lifestyle changes, sedentary life , poor eating habits and wrong food choices . This has greatly increase the risk of diseases like heart, diabetes and various other health conditions.  One main cause for its aggravation is the food.  Although, we all know abut the foods that are good for you. Millets are a group of small-seeded grasses that’s been cultivated for thousands of years as staple food crops in various parts of the world. In addition to a plenty of health benefits, millets are  highly tolerant of drought and other extreme weather conditions, making them a sustainable crop to grow. With the aim to create awareness and increase production & consumption of millets, United Nations, at the behest of the Government of India, declared 2023 the 

International Year Millets“.
